15 people were baptized

“Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38). This Peter’s command that he got from God about baptizing after repentance is not just a tradition and a ritual, but an inexplicable movement in the spiritual world that is revealed in the covenant of man with God. This is the start of full relationship with the Heavenly Father that is then confirmed by baptizing by the Holy Spirit. This ordinance, that is performed by the church for many centuries, is a sign that Christ’s teaching is alive even in the contemporary rebellious world. It revives and change people; moreover, people are saved thanks to the sacrifice of the Son of God.

Among 15 people who were baptized in the church “Philadelphia” last weekend two were from the village Saparovo (Udmurtia), one — from Gozhan (Perm region). There is a wonderful tendence: among the baptized the majority is the young people under 25. There was one pregnant woman as well.

The next day on the church meeting there was a prayer for all these people about their baptizing by the Holy Spirit.
