“Are we the spectators or the participants?” — this was the question that everybody could ask himself or herself at the meeting of the church “Philadelphia” on 7 February. The believers could enjoy the church choir’s singing, look at the ministers and watch speakers’ emotions. But God calls us to participation. Only the participants got the answers that morning.

Pastor Sergei Tensin dwelt upon our participation in the commission that was given to us by Jesus. He quoted Romans 12:1: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God — this is your spiritual act of worship”. It is very important to stop being spectators. We should start direct our energy to the church’s activity. Churches can’t exist without ministries and God gave us salvation, so we can do everything needed.

Senior pastor Pavel Zhelnovakov told that we should be aware of the activity our brothers and sisters in Christ dedicate to God. Everyone is destined to some ministry and mission. We should not oppose to God’s calling. “No one opposing to God can keep his or her position” — these were senior pastor’s words. We can’t avoid our mission.
