"Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy" - the forth Commandment of the Moses says. The Sabbath is a day when all Hebrews had to do nothing but eat what has already been cooked and attend the meetings of those, who glorify God. What is noticeable, Christ did not cancel the law through His teaching (Matthew 5:17), but not keeping the Sabbath became another thing among others for the religious elite to blame Christ. Was it Christ's sin? On Sunday's sermon of "Philadelphia" church, Izhevsk, - April, 6th -  Ilyas Mukhametdinov preached about the principle of the Sabbath.

Being in defense, Jesus said to it: "My Father is always at His work to this very day, and I too am working", paying attention to the fact He did not break the rule of Sabbath because He acted according to God's will. The phrase "My Father is always at His work to this very day" leads us to the day of first Sabbath. When God created everything on the Earth, He took a rest on the last day (Genesis 2:3). God told to "keep the Sabbath holy", He meant following His example by separating it among other six days of creating. Do what you do during six days; give the seventh day to God. This rule appears far before the law (Exodus 16:4-5).

Ilyas shared the instructive example from his life: on a Sunday he got sick and decided to miss the church meeting - although he's never canceled business meeting because of sicknesses. On the second Sunday he asked himself: "Do I have a headache?" And yes, he had a headache! Then he just missed the third Sunday with no reason. When the forth Sunday came he somehow woke up: "Ilyas! What are you doing?" He was waiting for the Sunday for the whole fifth week to meet the Lord. Having shared his experience, Ilyas mentioned: when we turn our face away from the commandment of rest in God, we lose the "child joy of rest's day"; we don't come to clean ourselves and get some strength. Like Peter, we come to Christ and say: "you shall never wash my feet" (John 13:8). Answering Peter, Jesus says us the same: "Unless I wash you, you have no part with me". Be rational in your thoughts; let God wash you every Sunday.

Pastor Oleg Malikh preached about the letter of Christ to the world. If the Lord Himself sent a message to the world, would He think about the messenger? Would He choose a respectable person who would give the message to people? Would He choose someone forgetful for it? Or would it be someone lazy? Bible says, He wants to do it through us. You should look and ask yourself: "Do I really suit God for it?" Paul the Apostle answers: "you are letter, written by the Spirit of a living God" (2 Corinthians 3:2-12). God wants to write His message right in our hearts. He wants to put His kindness, love and holiness in our heart. This is what He does and one doesn't need to ask such questions, because God teaches us to be loyal. And we have this ability from God.
